Most of the people this advertising will work on would never buy a Mac. Just odd to appeal to inverse snobbery - you can't really flip that round to sell people a 'premium' product later. In this add and the second one, they only buy a HP notebooks. A Sony Vaio or Panasonic can be just as expensive! That's not the point, the point of this advertising is to tell the general public that in these down times, a Windows PC will do the good for less money than a Mac. I think this campaign might actually work. It's the only advantage that a Windows PC has over a Mac, it's cheaper... There's many disadvantages, which I'm sure Justin Long will be explaining soon!
